SDM – Liquid sugar making machine

SDM type of machines servers to the production of liquid sugar. The primary raw material is crystal sugar that is mixed with water in the ejector – that means no mixer nor a screw conveyor. During the production the liquid suger is pasteurized and there is a heat recuperation.

Sugar dissolution

Sugar can be sucked in the machine from a hopper on ejector or it can be poured directly to the dissolving tank. The production of liquid sugar is performed in two tanks. In the first one the water is mixed with the crytal sugar and then the suger is pastuerized with temperature not exceeding 95°C in the second tank. The sugar is produced in doses that are gathered in the liquid sugar storage tank. The machine operates with full heat recuperation, because all the heating is transfered to the new doses of sugar and so there is no energy loss.

Construction

The stainless steel construction including power switchboard is located on a firm frame. All the materials used including the tanks and frame are in stainless steel quality of 1.4301 and are suitable for food processing production.

Control

The machine can have its own control system or can by controlled by central system.

The operator can set:

  • The refraction of liquid sugar (40 – 70)°Bx.
  • The pasteurization temperature.
  • The time of pasteurization.

Parameters

Machine output: (500 – 5 000) kg of liquid sugar per hour while refraction (60 – 70)°Bx.

Machine input: (20 – 45) kW
